It’s that time again! It’s the 12th Annual Tom Heighway Rock ‘n Roll Run (or Stroll). For those of you who have not participated in the last 11 years, Thomas Heighway was just like someone you know. He was a father, a brother, a husband, an uncle, a son, a soccer coach, a rock star, a wrestler, a friend, a carpenter, and an all-around amazing person. He was diagnosed with Leukemia in February 2003 at the age of 50 and tragically passed away just eight months later. To keep his memory alive, we are raising money to continue supporting the annual Tom Heighway Memorial Scholarship that will be awarded to students with financial need who have lost a parent. We have given away more than $50,000 in college scholarships in the past 11 years to Glenbard West Students.
